What is diagnostic tests?

Diagnostic test is immunochromatographic (more simply than IHA) the analysis which shows results in 5-10 minutes. With it it is possible to reveal if whether at a cat an infection, without visit of veterinary clinic.

How and when to carry out diagnostic tests?

Usually tests apply before knitting or vaccination. Also procedures are necessary before placing the pet on overexposure. Veterinarians use such diagnostic means in the work too not to spend time for expectation of results.

Diagnostic test is used as follows:

  1. Pour in blood in a test tube with EDTA. These are such vacuum capacities which prevent fibrillation by blocking of ions of calcium.
  2. Then it is closed, leaving before formation of crude serum (it is impossible to stir up). Or it can be closed, 5 times to turn, give to laboratory to receive serum or plasma.
  3. Bring in a hole 10 мкл serums by means of the capillary pipette (level is specified by risky).
  4. It is necessary to bring analytical thinner from a bottle (2 drops) in a hole.
  5. Interpretation lasts 10 minutes.

On it the procedure is complete. The result can be positive or negative. The infection cannot be ignored. If its existence is confirmed, then it is necessary to address the veterinarian urgently.

The infection can be characterized by various symptoms. Often it is shown in the form of the increased temperature, diarrhea, inflammation of skin, anemia, loss of appetite. Timely treatment will allow not to allow complications and to improve health of a pet. And use of diagnostic tests – quickly and authentically to learn if an infection or not.
