Long-haired collies were brought as extraordinary hardy dogs capable to run 50 – 60 km a day. Therefore serious physical activities are necessary for them.
A collie long-haired – extraordinary devoted dog adoring children. This is the excellent partner for the family leading active lifestyle. Besides they perfectly give in to training, and it is a pleasure to train them.
Consider, however, that the long-haired collie does not take out loneliness – becomes irritable and nervous, can show destructive behavior.
