An Italian greyhound, as well as any other borzoi, requires attention. This dog is not only a subject of pride of the owner, but also the family member. The pet needs warmth, friendship and love from the owner. And if to get an Italian greyhound only to derive pleasure from high awards at dog exhibitions, then better you should not get her in general. In such situation the sleek-haired borzoi will feel unfortunate. Its thin sincere organization and high intelligence demand good contact with the owner.
Dogs of small breeds can be excellent watchmen, will warn the owners bark about approach of strangers, to protect the family and the house. However Italian greyhounds do not approach for a role of the little watchman at all. Borzois were removed for hunting, but not for protection, and it should be considered upon purchase of the pet.
What is required from the Italian greyhound owner:

The Italian greyhound very quickly runs, the person can almost not catch up with this dog. Besides hunting instincts are developed at this breed rather strongly. It easily gives in on provocation. Therefore it is necessary to walk this dog in the conditions of the city on a lead. It is necessary to buy puppies only from the famous manufacturer who will provide all necessary information and documents. It is good if the seller shows parents of the chosen puppy.

Well to take the kid on hands, to examine him completely, to check a condition of skin, ears, to touch a nose (it has to be damp). To press slightly on a stomach, to take an interest, whether all as it should be at the pet with digestion. The main thing – to learn when vaccination was done and the glistogonny drugs were taken.
