Italian greyhounds in movies

The Italian greyhound of Poppi together with the hostess was stolen by Martians in the movie "Mars Attacks!" and even sewed the head of a doggie to a body of the owner.

Famous owners of Italian greyhounds

Zemir's Italian greyhound was Ekaterina the Second favourite. This doggie is immortalized in the form of a porcelain figurine (the author – Zh.D. Rashett, professor of Imperial Academy of Arts). The figurine is stored in Peterhof in the palace.
